This sun-loving plant will add an evergreen patch to balconies and windows with the harshest sunlight. Excellent choice to provide that much-needed shielding from your intrusive neighbours, this conifer with its flat leaves requires very little care and can be pruned into almost any shape. Resilient in the face of pollution they will also trap most of the dust that your windows or balconies get.
Fertilizer/ feed for the plant:The thuja grows very fast and needs to be fertilised with a generic liquid fertiliser (NPK 19:19:19) once every two week for a good growth.
Repotting : Repot the plant once it has overgrown the current pot. Use fresh soil with organic matter at the time of repotting.
Propogation : Thuja can be propagated through seeds, air layering, or vegetatively in summers through fresh cuttings.
